Owner + Design Principal, SABI Design Studio
Originally from Humboldt County, California, Chloe was raised among towering redwoods, rugged coastlines, and a deeply rooted artistic community along the North Pacific. This early immersion in nature and creativity continues to shape her design philosophy — one grounded in restraint, authenticity, and a strong sense of place.
Chloe earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a concentration in Interior Architecture through the NASAD and CIDA accredited program at California State University, Sacramento. During her time in Sacramento, she completed internships at Miles Treaster Associates and Dreyfuss + Blackford, gaining foundational experience in thoughtful, architecturally driven design.
Following graduation, Chloe joined Studio Oxeye, where she worked closely with the firm’s principal. She began as a Project Designer and naturally progressed into the role of Director of Interior Design, overseeing interiors for a range of architectural projects.
In 2019, her path led her to Montana’s Big Sky Country. There, she spent five years at Abby Hetherington Interiors, a luxury interior design firm, refining her approach to high-end residential design. Collaborating with established architects, builders, and artisans, Chloe managed a wide range of project types and developed a deep understanding of executing elevated interiors with precision and care.
In the fall of 2024, Chloe founded SABI Design Studio, bringing together nearly a decade of professional experience and a clear vision for intentional, bespoke living spaces.
Now based in Bozeman, Montana, Chloe shares her life with her husband, Jace, and their Picardy Spaniel, Angus. With nearly a decade of of industry experience, she continues to draw inspiration from natural landscapes, daily rituals, and the community that surrounds her.
